Natural Products and Drug Development
We are generally interested in molecules that exhibit biological activities conducive to man, be it as drugs for the cure of diseases or as agents for the protection of crops. We develop new reagents and methods for the efficient synthesis of natural substances of this type, and we also fine-tune established drugs so as to better reach their targets and overcome the resistance machinery of bugs and cancer cells.
